S.M.A.R.T. monitoring

iStat Menus uses S.M.A.R.T. (Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Technology) to display the health and temperature of drives. For a more detailed description, please see the Wikipedia S.M.A.R.T. page.

S.M.A.R.T. monitoring can be disabled via the statistics menu in iStat Menus.
