Chaos Line

At first glance, you might think Chaos Line is an amazing way to create 303-style bassline sequences with accents and slides. And, you’d be right! It is!

But, it does much more than that. It’s perfect for lead lines, arpeggios, modular-style experimentation, and all kinds of happy accidents.

Chaos Line doesn’t just create one sequence — it generates four. Use the morph area to blend between them, for constantly evolving movement.

The playback mode determines the order the notes will be played, allowing for even more variation and fills.

Chaos Line is wild at heart, but it can be tamed to fit any musical context. Shape sequences by constraining notes to any scale, using the built-in note filter.

MIDI export

Once you’ve created something you love, drag the MIDI button into the arrange view to export a sequence. To capture complete performances and automation, MIDI Memories can be used.

Requirements

Chaos Line is available as an Audio Unit version 3 and VST3 plugin for macOS and Windows. It requires MIDI plugin support.

Chaos Line works with a wide range of audio apps. We have setup guides for Ableton Live, Bitwig, Cubase, FL Studio, Logic Pro, and Reaper.

Not a subscription

When you purchase Chaos Line, all 1.x updates are included. There’s also a 30-day free trial, so you can use it for a few weeks before making up your mind.
